Our Mission

  • Approved Bylaws
  • Formation of Committees, Chairperson Appointments and Approved Charters
  • Filed for 501(c)3 Status
  • Filed to become Friends of Days River Pathway

  • Met and had conversations with landowners/managers, government agencies and planning committees, grant writers, other non-profit organizations, trail builders, trail enthusiasts such as bikers, equestrians, cross-country skiers and hikers.

Trail Project Development Public Input and Prioritization

Over the past few months, members of DCNT have met with many landowners/managers and government agencies to learn about different existing trails and recreation areas throughout the county. With the information gathered, we are in the process of evaluating each property to determine the potential for future trail development in order to develop short and long-term goals. Attendees at the May 1 public meeting were asked to participate in an activity, to provide their input on what trails they would like to see developed and to rank the priority of the projects.
