Let’s Build
Gladstone Bike Park
Help us build the Gladstone Community Bike Park, featuring a 3-mile biking and hiking trail, skills features, and a beginner-friendly pump track, by raising the local matching funds needed to secure a Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund grant for trail construction.
About the campaign
Gladstone’s First Community Bike Park
Featuring 3 Miles of Flowing Singletrack with Skills Features
We’re building something new and exciting for Delta County—a community bike park at Gladstone’s John & Melissa Besse Sports Park! This new park will include:
- A 3-mile loop of professionally designed flowing singletrack
- Progression-based bike skills features
- A beginner-to-intermediate pump track for skill-building
- A safe, inclusive space for families and outdoor fun
What Your Donation Supports
Funds from this campaign will go directly toward building:
- A progression-based pump track
A looping, rolling course that helps riders of all ages develop balance, control, and flow—perfect for play and skill-building. - Bike skills features
Berms, rollers, balance elements, and technical features designed for learning and progression, from first-timers to seasoned riders. - Trail prep & site development
Grading, shaping, and groundwork for a high-quality, low-maintenance singletrack loop with great flow and longevity. - Public grant readiness
Funds raised through this campaign will serve as our required local matching funds to apply for a Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF) grant, helping us unlock major state funding to bring the park to life. - Early-phase signage and maintenance
To help launch the project with a polished, welcoming feel from day one.
